Search begins for six staff as UNTHA UK continues to grow

service engineer.

Industrial shredding specialist UNTHA UK has announced six new vacancies, as the Yorkshire headquartered business gears up for further growth.

Filling the roles – which cover four different departments – would represent almost a 20% uplift in headcount. The hires would also follow hot on the heels of Hannah Wray joining the team as sales and marketing administrator, earlier this year, plus former supplier Katie Mallinson becoming UNTHA’s full-time global marketing director, in late 2023.

The search is on for three new sales consultants to accommodate increased demand for UNTHA’s shredding solutions – from compact standalone units to complex turnkey systems for some of the countries most difficult waste, recycling and energy recovery projects. These field-based positions would bolster the commercial side of the business, with the new recruits responsible for their own pipeline too.

Known for their ambassadorial stance in industry – and their passion for sharing knowledge via customer stories, seminars and whitepapers – UNTHA is also looking for a marketing and content manager to drive capacity in the UK team.

A vacancy is open for a service engineer, wholly committed to the successful installation, maintenance, and optimisation of UNTHA’s shredders, on customer sites throughout the country. And a purchasing and supply chain coordinator completes the line-up of advertised roles, to drive efficiencies and ongoing compliance as the firm continues to grow.

Commenting on the recruitment drive, UNTHA UK’s managing director Marcus Brew said: “We have maintained our 20% annual growth trajectory once again, and – despite the challenging external climate – we don’t see that changing as we plan for the years ahead.

“As we invest in the future of our business – to support the sustainability agendas of our customers – our workforce is one of our most important areas of focus. We are known for our deployment of technology, having been crowned a ‘leading light’ in the Digital Enterprise Top 100 awards. But our people are at the heart of our success.

“With many colleagues having celebrated at least 10 years with the business, I look forward to welcoming the next wave of talent into our team.”
