Senior engineer Ben celebrates decade at UNTHA

Ben ten year presentation

It’s a story that began a decade ago, and this month, Ben Styles celebrates 10 years as an UNTHA engineer.

Affectionately known as ‘Bengineer’ by some of his colleagues, he is a senior member of our service team. A hit with colleagues and customers alike – right from the start, back in 2011 – he quickly became an integral part of customers’ shredding projects. Involved in the earlier commissioning stages, he remains a familiar face throughout the ongoing lifespan of our technology, and proactively supports customers with everything from operator training to planned preventative maintenance, and performance optimisation to help when the unexpected happens.

Whether it’s a mechanical or electrical query, there’s no job too big or small for Ben. And with such a positive, ‘can do’ attitude, it almost feels like there’s no problem he can’t solve.

“We all work very hard at UNTHA UK, and our jobs are made so much more fun, and fulfilling, with Ben around,” commented UNTHA UK’s managing director Marcus Brew. “He’s got a big heart too – evidenced not least by his commitment to giving back to support the heroes of the pandemic.

“It seems especially fitting that he is our latest employee of the month – as voted for by colleagues. Ten years is a long time, which evidences his loyalty and just how integral he is to our business.”

Ben added: “10 years has flown! Marcus and I have seen a lot of changes since I started, but the company and team have always grown and changed for the better – and that’s why I still enjoy my work, and I’m still proud to be a member of the UNTHA team.”

To celebrate his 10-year milestone, Marcus presented Ben with an UNTHA plaque last week.

Ben, thank you for everything.
