You may have recently read that UNTHA UK joined the Wood Recyclers’ Association (WRA) – and we’re all set to attend our first event as a new member, at the Northumberland meet-up, on 11^th March!

At our stand in Hexham, the focus will be our XR shredder – a machine that has attracted worldwide acclaim for its alternative fuel production potential. And, in more recent times, it is revolutionising the face of UK wood shredding, particularly for biomass production.

Commenting on why we’re attending the WRA event, UNTHA UK’s sales director Gary Moore said: “As the WRA is known as ‘the voice of the wood industry’, what better place to meet waste and recycling professionals and chat about the sustainable solutions we offer?

“We’re always looking for opportunities to ‘get involved’ in what’s going on in the industry, and the Hexham event is a great chance to share our technical knowledge with a wider, relevant audience.”

Here at UNTHA UK, we know that ‘seeing is believing’. That’s why we like to share examples of projects we’ve carried out with our clients.

In fact, we have an ever-increasing number of heavyweight wood recycling customers, including Crapper & Sons, Rabbit Waste Management and Eco-Sustainable Products – all of which use UNTHA’s XR3000C mobil-e shredder to produce their P63-specification biomass fuel.

And, the shredder is now enabling family-run quarrying firm Crapper & Sons to transform 30 tonnes of wood waste per hour into a P63-specification biomass fuel – with less than 6% <10mm fines.
