It’s been a busy few months at UNTHA UK HQ – particularly when it comes to tyre shredding. And hot on the heels of us hitting the media headlines following the launch of our new UNTHA XR3000C-HT, we’ve more exciting news to report – our sales director, Gary Moore, has featured in episode 15 of Tyre & Rubber Recycling Magazine’s, ‘The Tyre Recycling Podcast’.

Hosted by contributor Richard Wilson, alongside editor Ewan Scott, the podcast gave Gary a fantastic platform to showcase his decades of tyre recycling experience before he answered the magazine’s burning questions – “why have you come back to the tyre recycling market and what do you have to offer?”.

In the podcast, they discuss:

• A brief history on UNTHA in the year we celebrate our 50^th anniversary
• Our return to the tyre recycling scene
• The game changing XR shredder range
• UNTHA’s after sales support.

During his cameo appearance, Gary said: “We spent a few years making sure the machine was truly tested in open market conditions…fast forward to 2020, we supply the XR3000C-HT primary shredder (to produce a 50mm TDF chip) and the XR3000-XC secondary shredder (which can achieve an even more refined 8-15mm product size from the pre-shredded fraction).

“With an ability to process a wide range of tyres within a single machine, we offer a single pass processing capability for TDF and run on energy efficient synchronous eco drive units. These use at least 40% less power, that in turn provide huge savings for the customer and guarantee ongoing productivity.”
