UNTHA UK’s executive support manager Sharon Annat attended the prestigious Digital Enterprise ceremony last week, to celebrate some of the most innovative, digitally mature and transformational businesses in the North.
And we were delighted to learn that among the Leeds City Region’s highly-acclaimed 100 companies, sat UNTHA UK!
We entered the awards scheme back in the spring, following a game-changing year for our team. We’ve invested more than £250,000 in new systems to:
• Ensure projects flow more smoothly, from the initial point of enquiry, through the sales process, commissioning phase and long into the aftersales cycle.
• Provide a central source of rich data, which means colleagues have access to the information they need, exactly when they need it.
• Overhaul our website to provide more types of customers with the insight they need, enabling them to make informed decisions about a shredder investment.
• Banish ‘batch and blast’ email communications in favour of slick, efficient and ultra-personalised marketing automation.
In truth, the list goes on. And we couldn’t have done any of this without the support of the Digital Enterprise.
“This event was about far more than the publication of the Digital Enterprise report,” explained Sharon. “The organisation exists to help local businesses build their digital knowledge, improve their performance and celebrate growth. All of these very diverse companies coming together, reminds everyone just how much there is to be proud of in our region.
“For UNTHA UK, the priority has been to truly put the customer at the heart of everything we do. We’re globally renowned for robust industrial shredders that outperform competitors’ in terms of throughputs, energy efficiency and whole life running costs. So, for the past couple of years, we’ve invested heavily in ensuring our service levels are equally as stand-out.
“Delivering this bold ambition comes down to two things – technology and our team. We’ve been through a notable period of change, which has required significant ongoing commitment from colleagues, but the hard work is paying off – not just in terms of the Digital Enterprise success, but our company growth too. We’re extremely excited about what lies ahead!”
