Welcome to Issue #3 of Shredder Bites, from Untha UK Your e-guide to shredders and waste management
…once again to UNTHA UK’s quarterly newsletter.
As the thermometers rocketed to glorious temperatures at the start of July we welcomed the much-anticipated arrival of summer. But there hasn’t been any time to put our feet up and bask in the sunshine. The UNTHA UK team has been busy pulling together to ensure this year’s RWM exhibition is one delegates will remember for quite some time. As we go on to explain below, 2013 is very much the year of breaking boundaries and we can’t wait for our exciting technology to be revealed.
In our spring newsletter we announced the launch of UNTHA Finance, which has subsequently received a lot of media attention. As a result we have been inundated with organisations enquiring about our flexible lending packages. We introduced this service to address a real industry challenge and already I believe we are achieving the goal we set out to fulfil – we are removing the lending obstacles that businesses were previously encountering and helping these companies to grow.
Perhaps there are some useful nuggets of information in this newsletter that will help your organisation to succeed. But don’t forget, at UNTHA UK we are here to help so if there is anything you’d like to ask, please email us or call 0845 450 5388.
I hope to see you at RWM.
Delegates in for revolutionary shredder experience at RWM
Every year thousands of visitors descend on the NEC to find out what the UK’s recycling and waste management industry has to offer. But as the show continues to get bigger, and as more events and conferences begin to crowd the sustainability calendar, how can delegates ensure they make the most of their time when they head to the exhibition halls?
This was the question on our minds when we began planning for RWM 2013. UNTHA UK’s prime goal was to devise a way to make the visitor experience as worthwhile as possible. This is why we’ll have a multi-disciplined waste management team on hand to talk to delegates about their waste shredding requirements, however complex, unusual or budget constrained. Stand H39-G38 will also offer the chance to learn more about UNTHA Finance and the newly-launched S25 compact shredder.
But our pièce de résistance will be the revolutionary shredder demonstration zone, which will allow delegates the chance to explore the UNTHA XR Waste to Energy pre shredder like never before. This cutting edge technology means RWM visitors really are in for a treat…
UNTHA UK was recently invited to contribute to leading resource management magazine Secondary Commodity Markets. Having talked to editor Paul Sanderson about the importance of building products and processes that last, we submitted a 650 word article that is due to appear in SCM’s August issue.
The ‘built to last’ concept has been embedded into UNTHA’s design ethos for decades. Our robust shredders are engineered so that after a long and successful ‘first life’ in one plant, they can be refurbished, reconfigured and re-commissioned for use in another operation.
We therefore stock a range of pre-owned but fully restored and serviced machines at our North Yorkshire headquarters. Customers can invest in our reliable technology at a fraction of the cost. Be warned though, these refurbished machines soon get snapped up!
Do you need to keep your confidential waste secure?
When it comes to shredding confidential documentation, counterfeit goods, branded products, bank notes, computer drives and so on, UNTHA UK is typically the first company that springs to mind. But the team has been further inundated with enquiries since news of the UNTHA RS100 installation at BPR Group hit the headlines this spring.
The buzz continued when UNTHA UK’s specialist confidential waste shredding team headed to the BSIA’s Information Destruction Exhibition and Conference in June. Many delegates were on the lookout for a robust shredding solution that will uphold even the highest security standards. As a result our business development team is now busy following up on new enquiries throughout the country.
