Our talented film crew Manto ventured into the heart of Blackpool’s waste management operations, with Enveco NW Environmental Services – a private waste management contractor – offering a behind-the-scenes look at how an RS30 shredder is tackling secure waste processing and recycling.

Leading the tour, Enveco’s environmental enforcement and operations compliance manager, Paul Preston, provided an in-depth look at the RS30’s impact on their secure waste management processes. He emphasised the operational and environmental benefits that come from using this DIN-66399 certified shredder to handle sensitive materials.

For Enveco, securely destroying a variety of confidential waste is essential, especially when supporting both residential and commercial clients across Blackpool. The RS30’s precision shred capabilities reduce these materials to a homogenous 15mm particle size, ensuring data security while producing a recyclable output. This process not only protects sensitive information but also aligns with Enveco’s commitment to sustainable waste practices.

UNTHA UK’s internal sales lead, Lewis Horne, made an appearance on-screen to discuss the intricacies of the project, as well as the machine’s advanced capabilities and unique features – including tailored hopper and gantry configurations.
