Recognising the strength and success of the UK market, he visits our North Yorkshire headquarters at least once a quarter, whilst maintaining weekly dialogue with the hard working UK team. This ensures a close-working interface between the two operations, and ongoing knowledge transfer. This seamless communication and direct link to Salzburg also helps steer best-practice innovation and the continued evolution of this industry-business, on an international level.
A self-motivated sales manager, with an abundance of enthusiasm and good humour, not to mention over 25 years’ experience, Gary is a knowledgeable shredding specialist. His expertise spans the design, sales and supply of turnkey recycling and waste management solutions for the RDF/SRF, WEEE and scrap metals industries, to name just a few.
Having worked in various engineering, project management, servicing and sales roles, in the UK and overseas, Gary has an impressive CV. The specialist shredding insight he has harnessed along the way, translates into an unrivalled ability to provide value-adding advice for UNTHA UK’s clients. He has supported customers in the development of existing and emerging market opportunities, whilst ensuring the roll out of sustainable business and marketing plans, continued growth and profitability.
Experienced in a range of waste applications, including the specialist areas of plastics, confidential waste and food waste/anaerobic digestion, Dan is responsible for working with existing and prospective clients throughout the whole of the UK.
A highly experienced waste management professional, Dan spent eight years managing secure shredding contracts for industry-leading confidential waste specialists, before joining UNTHA UK. He is passionate about delivering efficient, professional and income generating waste management solutions that lead to long term client-supplier relationships. He can therefore assist with all aspects of waste reduction and recycling, from the supply of the most cost efficient machinery, through to a complete after sales service.
A strong communicator with a keen eye for detail, Sharon is responsible for the development and continual improvement of processes throughout the company. This drives innovation and change through the implementation of ever smarter systems, technologies and workflows.

A highly qualified engineer with 19 years’ experience, Paul takes the reigns of UNTHA UK’s after sales team team. The minute you have decided to invest in an UNTHA shredder, your project becomes Paul’s responsibility.
He ensures the seamless transition between the shredder procurement phase and the subsequent delivery, installation and continued optimisation of clients’ machines. He also provides a crucial interface between your own operational team and UNTHA UK’s engineers, answering all of your questions, large or small, and guaranteeing that the commissioning of your shredder is headache free.

Interim Project Manager
When it comes to his technical background, there is little missing from Steve’s jam-packed CV. He started out with the Air Force but has since gone on to work as an engineering manager for a turkey producer, a project engineer at a dairy plant, and the manager of an abattoir which he rebuilt following a fire. In recent years his career has seen him adopt the role of interim project manager for household brands as renowned as Heinz and the Wensleydale Creamery.
His varied experience – plus familiarity with installations large and small – means he is well-equipped to handle the diverse projects that UNTHA UK continually secures. He’s incredibly organised and more than used to being on the road supporting customers in all parts of the country.
Senior Service Engineer
There really is no challenge too large or small for this popular member of the UNTHA UK team. Ben’s ‘can do’ attitude and multi-skilled engineering experience means he is UNTHA UK’s lead point of contact for both mechanical and electrical enquiries.
With over 16 years’ experience, Ben can support clients in varied waste and recycling environments. He plays a pivotal role in the shredder commissioning stage, and remains a familiar face when assisting clients with the ongoing servicing and maintenance of their machinery. Ben quickly becomes a trusted member of the team who customers can rely on to ensure the greatest possible return on investment from their shredders. They are continually impressed with his level of knowledge and assistance, and the rapport he therefore has with these clients is second-to-none.
Parts & Warehouse Manager
Andy has a varied role at UNTHA UK , given the assorted nature of existing client applications and the number of diverse new enquiries that the team is currently working on.
An integral member of the team, Andy is responsible for spare parts sales, enquiries and bookings for the exciting new test centre, waste shredder demonstrations, machinery servicing and the overall maintenance of UNTHA UK’s North Yorkshire engineering hub.
With almost 10 years installations experience, apprentice trained Andy is a multi-skilled electrical engineer who has worked on a variety of industrial and commercial facilities. Having always had client-facing roles, he is a personable, problem solving member of the team.
He has grown up loving to fix things, which means he is a natural quick thinker. This stands him in good stead when our ever-evolving clients throw new challenges at the shredders we have installed. He is on hand to help with everything from the initial commissioning, through to reconfigurations, servicing and machine optimisation.
As a highly-qualified mechanical and electrical engineer, little fazes Rob on an installation, service or maintenance job. His CV has seen him work for the Ministry of Defence, help run Pedigree Masterfoods’ factory and build sports cars – and these are just some of the highlights! He is therefore well versed in tackling technical scenarios in a variety of sectors, which means he is an asset to have working on clients’ varied shredder projects.
The last eight years of his career have been spent in the waste and recycling sector, so he has some great knowledge to tap into – not to mention a good humoured approach to working with customers and colleagues alike!
