UNTHA UK ready for EBEC 2012
With only one week left to go, UNTHA UK’s waste and recycling experts are finalising preparations for their attendance at the country’s largest bioenergy event, EBEC.
Scheduled to take place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on the 10th and 11th of October, the two-day European Bioenergy Expo and Conference is renowned for bringing together the most forward-thinking individuals within the biogas, biomass, biodiesel and Energy from Waste (EfW) sectors.
A renowned technology provider within this exciting field, UNTHA UK will be speaking to delegates about the innovative and precise nature of the world-leading UNTHA shredders. Designed by highly skilled, forward-thinking and client-focused engineers, these advanced machines support the production of clean renewable energy in the UK and beyond.
Managing director Chris Oldfield explains: “As a nation we cannot ignore the targets we have to meet, and I am proud that UNTHA UK plays an active role in encouraging the country to meet its obligation of 15% of energy supplies being renewable by 2020.
“We still have some way to go until we embrace bioenergy on the same scale as some of our European neighbours but momentum is gathering and with the Government having introduced incentives such as the Feed in Tariff, now is the time to up the pace.
“I would encourage any EBEC delegate to come and talk to us about their plans for bioenergy. We have an incredibly experienced team of renewable energy and EfW experts, and we believe that to make further progress in the UK we all have to join together and share our knowledge. It seems that this is what EBEC is all about.”
