Stock shredders equate to speed of service at UNTHA UK
UNTHA UK’s North Yorkshire headquarters is a popular hub for existing and prospective customers throughout the country, as businesses flock to our shredder test centre to develop best practice recycling practices for their own materials.
But our high capacity warehouse is currently attracting even more visitors, because it is now home to a fleet of brand new shredders. This means that, regardless of the material that you need to shred – metals, paper, plastic, organics, WEEE, confidential waste, RDF or SRF production, to name just a few – we now have a suitable machine in stock and ready for immediate delivery.
Explaining the reason for this investment in new stock shredders, UNTHA UK’s managing director Chris Oldfield said: “Having supported clients with their shredding projects for almost 20 years, we understand the challenges and opportunities that waste and recycling businesses face in this industry. We also know that our customers need to work ever-smarter, to meet the demands placed on them.
“This is why we treat every new enquiry as unique, working hard to understand what makes the organisation tick. We then recommend the best fit shredder for the company’s needs and can offer finance if cash flow management is important.
“But we identified that there was another way we could improve the procurement process. By investing in a range of stock machines, we can offer unparalleled lead times, enabling our customers to start shredding as soon as possible. Our talented engineers will simply configure each shredder to meet clients’ specific requirements, before it is delivered and commissioned on site.”
Customers visiting the shredding specialists this week would be able to explore a variety of machines including a powerful LR1400 wood shredder complete with conveyor and magnet; a high throughput RS100 which is suitable for a range of heavy duty applications including WEEE, metals and confidential waste; and the popular compact S25 – a complete CE certified system that is ready to ‘plug and go’.
The range of machinery available to view in North Yorkshire does not stop there. A selection of used and fully refurbished shredders are also for sale, offering businesses an alternative, cost-effective way to invest in UNTHA’s industry-leading technology.
Chris continues: “Our robust shredders are built to last which means that, whilst they may have reached the end of their useful life in one plant, they in fact remain a value adding asset for other waste and recycling facilities, for years to come. I would encourage anyone on the lookout for a new or used shredder, to come and visit us to see if we can help.”
