Energy from Waste conference – final preparations underway
The UNTHA UK team of shredding experts is finalising plans for its presence at the highly-acclaimed Energy from Waste conference, scheduled to be held next month.
Approximately 200 delegates are expected to gather in Westminster on the 27/02/13 for this annual event. Designed to get our exciting environmental industry talking, attendees will be treated to expert information and analysis surrounding EfW technologies, policies, applications, efficiencies and strategies.
Acknowledging the focused nature of this popular conference, the UNTHA UK stand will focus on knowledge transfer sessions that complement the programme of seminars scheduled across the two day event. Renowned waste and recycling guru Chris Oldfield (UNTHA UK’s managing director) will be joined by alternative fuel production expert and colleague Marcus Brew.
Sharing their pioneering expertise in this specialist field, Chris and Marcus will work with delegates to ensure they develop best-practice EfW production systems. Chris explains: “UNTHA UK has worked with EfW clients throughout the UK and overseas, to ensure they have the right technologies in place to achieve a homogenous particle size necessary for the alternative fuel marketplace.
“Whether conference delegates wish to produce Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) from Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) or the more refined Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) from Commercial and Industrial (C&I) waste, we can demonstrate how to achieve optimum plant efficiencies and product quality, which of course equates to maximum Return on Investment (ROI).”
If you cannot attend the EfW conference, or if you have already registered but would like to begin your research early, then why not take a look at some of UNTHA UK’s EfW resources. For instance, read about the opportunities that exist in MSW shredding, download our Five Steps to Running a Successful SRF Plant guide, or learn how lean manufacturing applies to the production of alternative fuels.
